Source for Tru- Oil
I am getting ready to apply the finish on my first guitar. i have decided to go with Tru- Oil as it seems to be a quality option especially for the beginner. I am having trouble locating a source for it however. I have tried all the fire arm stores in my area as well as all the box stores. I was wondering if someone could let me know who to order it from as it looks like thats what i am going to have to do. Thankyou. Jon

Hello Jon,
I had a similar experience in trying to find it. I went to the local firearms/sporting goods stores and they did not carry it. Not long after that, Lee Valley started to sell it.

I think it is more readily available in the US than Canada (where I'm located) so you shouldn't have too much trouble if you don't want to order it on-line. I'm sure others will suggest some places.

Many thanks dave. I am going to get a bottle on order. Jon

I bought it from Woodcraft. Now they send me a catalog every three months or so.

I looked through my Woodcraft catalog no Tru-oil so I must have got it somewhere else.

My local Big R carries it, and so does the Sportsman's Warehouse. Also Stewart-MacDonald, I think.
