Still, a couple hundred necks is not something to minimize..a lot of work.
It's good to hear about the durability of the TO.
That spinal stuff sounds like absolutely no fun. I hope your next surgery goes spectacularly well!!

From the company:
Dear Dave,
Thank you for your inquiry.
The Tru-Oil will work over the epoxy, but it will not be as durable of a finish. In fact, it might scratch off easily.
The Tru-Oil really needs to absorb into the wood for best results.
You can fill the pores with the Tru-Oil. ( Using the wet-dry sandpaper)
I have attached our refinishing guide for further instruction on the wood filling with the Tru-Oil.
If you have any additional questions, let me know.
Thank you,
Sandy Ellertson | Birchwood Casey LLC
I attach a screen shot of the refinishing guide she sent me.

Re: Steel wool and other hints
I already have the neck pore filled and sanded smooth with z-poxy ready for a finish, Any recomendations ? Wipe on Poly? Or should I just go ahead with the Tru oil and take a chance? Thanks for your help. Jack
